Lichfield legal assistants earn between 18-30k pa. Their pay varies with the location of the job and the experience that they have. An assistant must be able to do additional research on cases and verify documents. He is also required to help trace information on court preparations. Any work needed to be done to build up the case is left to the assistant. With his help, the lawyer’s time will be freed up to do the other pressing matters.
To be a Lichfield high court judge, you need to be conversant with rules and regulations governing the laws of the country. A high court judge is the one who passes a sentence on a suspect after carefully listening to both the appellant and the defendant’s side of the story. He is expected to be a person of integrity so that the rule of law is maintained. A judges pay rises to about 250k per year.
Generally, working in the legal field needs a high level of commitment. The working hours are between 8am – 6pm, but more often than not, flexibility is required to work longer when the duties demand. Overtime is also a common occurrence. The environment is often office based and comfortable.
