Agriculture and Animals jobs in Tamworth
The Agriculture and animal Tamworth sector has many jobs but they seem to be very varied. Most of the jobs involved in this sector are the manual work jobs but there are situations which call for some technical work too. For the manual jobs, they do need high qualifications, however for the technical jobs, they may need someone to have very high qualifications.It obvious that most jobs under these categories require people who are physically fit due to the fact that most of the tasks involved require the application of a lot of energy. Some of the duties involved would include tasks like milking, ploughing and taking care of livestock that indeed needs a lot of physical energy. In addition to these, there is always need for one to be of very good health because they would deal with chemicals like pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. For those wishing to get technical jobs, they need to have very high qualifications preferably a university degree in zoology, botany and food science. For one to get such kind of a degree it may require up to 7 years of university study. There is also need for one to have a basic knowledge in computer applications especially those relevant to the jobs in this sector. More so, there is need to have a good knowledge of the scientific equipment.
When it comes to the wages, it normally depends on the job applicable. Manual jobs applicable to particular framer would earn a good wage depending on the work that he does. For the technical jobs, they always have a very good salary especially for veterinary officers and food science engineers. The hours of work normally varies from one job to another but the farmers would always spend more time in their farms than other employees in the same sector in Tamworth.
